Part of our Real Wedding Series
Love, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing filled the air as Molly and Contessa celebrated their wedding day at Butler’s Courtyard. Their April wedding was nothing short of magical, with vibrant teal accents, a heartwarming gazebo ceremony, and an unforgettable reception that kept the dance floor packed all night long. Molly and Contessa’s vibrant LGBTQ wedding at Butler’s Courtyard in Houston was full of ‘OBVIOUS’ love.
A Wedding Venue Where Love is Love
At Butler’s Courtyard, we take immense pride in being an LGBTQ-friendly wedding venue in Houston, where every love story is celebrated with open arms. Molly and Contessa’s day was a testament to the joy, inclusivity, and deep connection that make our venue a place where all couples can create lifelong memories.
The Ceremony: A Beautiful Garden Wedding
Surrounded by family and friends, Molly and Contessa exchanged vows in front of our charming gazebo, adorned with beautiful custom white and blue florals from Lush Flowers, one of Houston’s Premiere floral designers. As live string music from Divisi Strings played softly in the background, the moment was filled with pure emotion and undeniable love.
A Private Moment to Cherish: The Private Meal
One of the most special experiences we offer our couples is a Private Meal between the ceremony and reception. For Molly and Contessa, it was a chance to take a deep breath, soak in the reality of their marriage, and enjoy a quiet moment together before the big celebration began. It was their favorite part of the day! A Reception Full of Fun, Joy & Laughter
From the moment the reception began, the celebration was in full swing! The couple and their guests danced the night away, creating an electric atmosphere filled with energy and joy. A unique touch to their day was the Gingersnap photo camper, a favorite in house add on at Butler’s Courtyard, where guests snapped fun pictures to take home, while Molly and Contessa received a keepsake book filled with photo strips from their loved ones.
Beauty & Style with Personal Touches
Molly and Contessa looked absolutely stunning in their coordinating custom white suits with teal accents. Each suite reflected their personal style so well! Their longtime hairdresser, Edith from Shears Studio, styled their hair beautifully, while Butler’s Courtyard Preferred Vendor Kristina Frank worked her magic with flawless makeup. Their radiant looks perfectly reflected their excitement and happiness.
Their cake table was a perfect place to add in the vibrant teal wedding color they chose. Check out the smiles on these two brides as they perform the ceremonial wedding cake cut. The custom wedding cake, created by Cakes by Jula showcases a striking teal ombré ‘paint’ effect.
Memories That Last a Lifetime
Molly and Contessa’s wedding was a perfect example of what makes Butler’s Courtyard an exceptional all-inclusive wedding venue. Their love, their laughter, and their deep connection were at the heart of every moment.
